Won't Steering Committee fail AYP??
Dear friends. Hope 2009 is so far so good. Excuse me folks, I’m sorry I feel forced to regret why we selected our steering committee. If wrong, I stand to be pardoned. Can you just imagine up to-date we all appear very unclear on why we were facilitated to meet in Addis Ababa last year 2008. I want to register my dissatisfaction with the Steering Committee we entrusted, whom as soon as they were confirmed would be representing African Youth in Denmark they all decided to cut off from others. What a shame; this is a true characters of bad leaders we see in the continent, which is total the opposite to what this campaign is all about and I see no reasons why you should deliberately fail the trust mandated to you. It’s sad we African youth appears worse than even these bad leaders we criticizes if this is how we smartly kills the brilliant opportunities brought to us. By now Steering Committee would have helped determined strategies for discussion, documentations and even the regional working groups. I am afraid we are derailing from the DAC's aim for AYP. I would propose we suggest the way forward and we keep alive this wonderful initiative in Africa and for Africans.
