having interfaced with election related work, i can testify that Sierra leone is by far one of the best examples in AFrica of a well run election. The fact that their electoral commission was trusted is indeed a miracle on the continent coz in many countries, those structures are agenst of the ruling party so yes, its a great example. The accusations of the former ruling leader to the international organisations that are funding local NGOs to monitor elections have a root in that corrupt leaders dont like interferace in general, but it must be noted that these international organisations are pushing their countries agendas which in some cases are shady....
