this is an interesting thread and whilst it is a great idea, i agree with the others that we see what the DAC has in mind before we hijack their agenda. A youth commission at AU level is very possiable and a similar structure exists with the EU. however, the Pan African Youth Movement i think is the custodian of African Youth on the continent including at AU level. Also i hear that the AU is contemplating a youth program of sorts, I am not sure of the details, I just heard about it- your idea could feed into that one i guess. Great idea all the same and i think it coud feed into the broader ambit of youth programming
